Biblical Birth Affirmations

Before I was blogging monthly I was a doula, I still am. I love being a doula very much. I love supporting women and their families and helping them achieve their goals and filling their lives with the support they want or need. I love my work so much. When I was thinking about an upcoming meeting I have it occurred to me that I have never taken the time to go through my Bible and write the verses that would have gotten me through the births of all my children (which I wrote about for Heavenly Treasures).  So I hope you enjoy my top ten 10 bible birth affirmations and they help you achieve what you want to achieve. I have made a printable PDF version also.

1.Psalm 139:13

You created every part of me; you put me together in my mother’s womb.

  1. Deuteronomy 31:8

The Lord himself will lead you and be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you, so do not lose courage or be afraid.”

  1. Psalm 34:4
I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me; he freed me from all my fears.
  2. 2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control.

  1. Joshua 1:9

Remember that I have commanded you to be determined and confident! Do not be afraid or discouraged, for I, the Lord your God, am with you wherever you go.

  1. John 14:27

Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

  1. Isaiah 40:29

He strengthens those who are weak and tired.

  1. 1 Samuel 1:27
asked him for this child, and he gave me what I asked for.
  1. Proverbs 31:25

She is strong and respected and not afraid of the future.

  1. Galatians 5:22

But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness

I hope you seeing these during your labor and hearing these wonderful scriptures before, during, and after your birth help you along the way to achieve something so unbelievably wonderful. I pray for all you mothers, soon to be, expecting, and just trying to get through the day. Being a mother is absolutely wonderful. Hard, stressful, and can fill you with unneeded doubt but it really is one of the most rewarding roles.
