Welcome to The Happy Homeschooling Mum. I am so glad you are here! I am a Maine mum, doula, and avid volunteer. I homeschool all my five of my children in the greatest state in the world, Maine!
I am always creating new recipes, making crafts, teaching, creating lists, and writing my thoughts. My goal is to always stay upbeat and positive. There is enough negativity around the world, I don’t need to be a part of it! Please follow this blog to remember that you are not alone! I am The Happy Homeschooling Mum, I mess up all the time, wonder random things, am broke half the time, and have many Pinterest fails. Motherhood, writing, and homeschooling are not perfect and that’s ok!
I am here to tell you that you are doing an AMAZING job and you are wonderful! Thank you for trying your best every day. YOU ARE ENOUGH!
I hope you enjoy my blog. On here you can see that I have added a page of all the worksheets I have created for my children. Feel free to download those PDFs/Images/OpenOffice and use for your own children. Up above you can view my posts by subject. There are ads on my site. But here is the catch, I only put up ads of things I believe and relate to. I do not do per-click- ad bait and I won’t. I may (or may not) make a small (very small) commission if you choose to purchase something from an ad. All my ads are carefully chosen and I put in hours of research and use to allow them on my blog. No google or amazon affiliate ads here, I put thought in care. While I do need to make a living I do not want to spam up my blog or misguide the few people who actually are taking the time to read what I am writing. Thank you for being here! I appreciate it more than you know!
I really enjoy homeschooling my kids, telling the truth about motherhood, and living in a small Maine town. I am an avid community volunteer. I am a Quest Club leader, co-op teacher, You Can Do The Cube Ambassador, secretary of my town’s events committee, on the library advisory board and friends organization, ACS Relay for Life team captain, and a volunteer with the EF High school exchange program. I love to walk for a cause, get together with friends, and watch TV sitcoms, old or new.
Have a question or want me to write about something? send me an e-mail!
Don’t forget to look to the right of this page and follow my blog, Pinterest, and Facebook pages. Connections are what it is all about as mothers! I wouldn’t say it takes a village to raise a child, but it sure takes a village to be a mum!
If you feel called to support my efforts in passing on education materials at no cost or one of my gifting programs please text 4849761 to the number 715-803-4772 and donate through the continue to give program.
